Tidal Magazine
Initially just playing around with type and layout, I soon found myself fully immersed in a passion project that invigorated my creative energy. Most of my inspirational exploration derived from Twen, a West German magazine published from 1959 to 1971. Twen’s reputation for pushing boundaries in type, imagery, and white space fueled my curiosity to integrate these elements into my own design. In addition, since I’ve always been fascinated by surf culture, I found it fitting to use it as a topic for the magazine.
